You can also order a repeat prescription online without the NHS App. This option doesn't require any login or registration.
Ordering Prescriptions in Person
You can order your medications by dropping off your completed repeat prescription slip at the surgery. If the practice is closed, there is a post box located in the underpass leading up to the rear car park.
Ordering Prescription by Phone
If you are unable to order online or by visit the surgery, you can call us to order your medications. To do this, please ring the practice on 01539 722660 and press option 2 to leave a voicemail with our dispensary team. When ordering prescriptions over the phone, please ensure you provide your name and date of birth, along with a list of each medication you need.
The Electronic Prescription Service, or EPS, enables prescriptions to be sent electronically from the GP practice to a pharmacy of your choice. This pharmacy will be referred to as your 'nominated' pharmacy which you can change at any time by letting us know at Reception or through the NHS App.
With EPS, you will no longer collect paper prescriptions from the practice. It is easy to use, and you do not need access to a computer or electronic device.
We are a dispensing GP practice which has a provision to dispense to patients who live at least one mile away from their nearest pharmacy.
Our Dispensary Team will be happy to answer any questions you may have about whether you qualify to have your medications dispensed by the Practice.

Prescription (per item): £9.90
3-month PPC: £32.05
12-month PPC: £114.50
If you pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a Pre Payment Certificate (PPC).

12-month HRT PPC: £19.80
Suitable if you pay charges for more than 2 eligible HRT medicines in 12 months.
The HRT PPC was introduced to help reduce the cost of certain Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) medicines.
You can purchase the 12-month HRT Prescription Payment Certificate using the NHS Website.
